Move over Disneyland, the new happiest place on earth has just recently opened its’ doors right here on the north shore! North Shore locals now have their very own dog cafe!
Setting up shop at Blackman Park in Lane Cove is a new dog café called Puppy Tail, or as we like to call it, heaven on earth for all dog lovers alike.
Blackman Park is actually already home to a generously sized off-leash dog park with built-in agility equipment, and now it has an eatery dedicated specifically to catering for its’ furry visitors and their humans. After all, Puppy Tail isn’t just your average pet-friendly café!
Their menu is actually designed to have nutritious, pet-friendly options like a delicious puppycino or puppy waffles that man’s best friend will certainly love to gobble up.
Also up for grabs are organically sourced meat based meals like a Lamb Omelette, Chicken Risotto, Grilled Fish and more. Your doggo will definitely be getting the five star treatment with these meals! And while they enjoy their feast, you too can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or sweet treat.
Puppy Tail is the sister café of Chew Chew Pet Restaurant in Wollstonecraft and both are owned by pet nutritionist Naoko Okamoto. She is a Japanese Pet Nutrition Expert and Pet Care Advisor whose expertise lies in creating organic and natural Japanese based recipes that are healthy, nutritious and tasty for your dog.
Having successfully run Chew Chew Pet Restaurant for over a decade now, Naoko couldn’t be more excited about opening up a second store in a new location.
“It’s such a great spot for doggies and their owners here. It’s my dream come true to open a place like this,” Naoko told publication Willoughby Living.
Along with the dedicated dog areas, Blackman Park is also home to some great bushwalks, picnic areas, sporting facilities, fitness equipment, playgrounds and more. So once you and your dog have enjoyed some exercise in the great outdoors, you can now enjoy a nice treat from the café!
Puppy Tail Café is open 7 days a week from 7am – 5pm, located at Blackman Park Lloyd Rees Drive, Lane Cove West. See you there for a paw-some time!
