McConnell Bourn are proud to again be a Platinum sponsor for the annual Special Olympics Upper North Shore and The Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run or Walk being held Sunday 29th May 2022.

The Special Olympics Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run or Walk is making a return; a charity event that has been very close to our hearts here at McConnell Bourn for a long time. This major fundraising event raises much needed funds for Special Olympics Upper North Shore.  This local charity organisation helps make a positive impact on the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving them the opportunity to compete in sports, develop lasting friendships, engage with their local communities, and reach their full potential.  The money raised by The Ku-ring-Gai Chase Fun Run or Walk helps this organization keep doing the incredible work that they’re doing.

This year the fun run will be taking place on Sunday 29th May at Claude Cameron Grove in Wahroonga. The running portion of the event offers a 5km or 10km course, but of course, if walking is more your speed, you have the option to do the 5km circuit!

If you’re keen to participate in The Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run or Walk you can register on their website tkcfunrun.org.au now, either as a family or a single person for various prices. You may just see some familiar faces from McConnell Bourn donning their running gear out on the course. And if you can’t make it on the day, you can still get involved by making a donation or sponsoring someone you know to do the course.

Come for a walk or run at The Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run on Sunday 29th May. We look forward to seeing you there for a great day, enjoying the outdoors while supporting a great cause.
