Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or take a more laid back approach to exercise, this one’s for you! At McConnell Bourn, we are proud to call ourselves a major sponsor and regular participator of the Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run; a community funded event that seeks to raise money for Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore (SOSUNS). All funds donated and raised on the day will go directly to SOSUNS.

Generated completely off community funding and volunteered hours, SOSUNS provide sports training and competitions to both physically and intellectually disabled adults and children. Taking place on Sunday 13th of March 2016, The Ku-ring-gai Chase Fun Run combines with the Barry Easy Walk to comprise of either one or two 4.5 km loops around Wahroonga, creating an ideal distance for anyone to participate in, at any pace.

If you’re looking for the perfect opportunity to get involved and give to your community, here it is! And what could be more satisfying than being able to get a decent workout from it at the same time? Well, the sausage sizzle at the finish line is pretty enticing!

Early entry for the Fun Run ends February 21st so get the family together or a bunch of mates and sign up today! Test your limits by running the distance! Or throw on some sneakers and hit those recommended daily 10,000 steps with a walk at your own comfortable pace (FitBit fanatics will love this one!).
