What Jon's clients are saying
A champ agent in Chatswood area. Jon is very well organised, efficient in assistance and a great communicator.
Extremely knowledgable and trustworthy agent. Jon has been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout our home sale journey. He is extremely down to earth, practical, and easy to work with, his communication skills are excellent, and he is very knowledgeable about north shore property and real estate in general. His advice was helpful and reliable. We really trusted him, and that trust was paid back many times over with a fantastic auction result for us. In fact, the entire McConnell Bourn team came to support our auction, including the Managing Director, each of them playing a role with the various bidders, and working seamlessly together to secure the result. Their auctioneer, Vic Lorusso also did an outstanding job - we have never seen another auctioneer of equal calibre. We highly recommend Jon Dundas-Smith and the McConnell Bourn team.

It was a fantastic marketing campaign by the exemplary Jon Dundas-Smith, and a brilliant result!
Owing to circumstances I found myself in, I needed to find an Apartment fairly quickly. Several people helped me achieve this and Jon was one of them. so I can recommend him to anyone.
Jon is a skilled and effective agent who we have experienced from both seller's and buyer's perspective. No hesitation in recommending him to a prospective seller.
I think Jon is a good real estate agent. He replied to my emails and phone calls in a professional manner. I purchased the house in auction above the market price but I am happy with my purchase and services provided by Jon.
Jon's reputation as a competent real estate professional was confirmed in his handling of our sale. His intimate knowledge of the local scene and conscientious attention to the preparation and execution of a practical marketing plan went a long way towards the successful completion of the sale. Most importantly, he maintained regular contact during the marketing period. Overall, we were very satisfied with the level of service we received and, of course, the ultimate outcome.
I was aware the sale of my home would not be easy, unless I was desperate to sell and priced it accordingly.. I had a short list of three agents whom I asked for proposals and an opinion of an achievable price. Due to the fact the house itself was a little unusual, I wasn't taken with the idea of the easy path for the agents, being the auction they all prefer. We needed to find people who would truly appreciate the skill of the architect in resolving many difficulties arising from that particular piece of Roseville which was its setting. I approached two of the, so called, 'top rated' agents for the locality, both of whom happened to be female and both of whom also had opinions of price within a thousand dollars of each other, probably by using a formula involving number of bedrooms, bathrooms garage spaces and proximity to Roseville Train Station. I might add, somewhat less than my own expectations. Jon seemed to see merit in the fact that 'Il Ponte' wasn't just a typical Roseville Federation Style bungalow, and discussed the reasons for my own expectations with me. We reached a mutual agreement as to a final price, below which I was not prepared to sell as I had no pressing financial need to do so. We set an ambit asking price and Jon diligently handled the many enquiries until finally he found a woman very taken with the house, partially due to her being confined to a wheelchair, the house is almost completely on one level. An acceptable offer was made and accepted but unfortunately they were unable to raise the finance in the end. A great deal of unrewarded effort went into trying to bring that sale to fruition. Not at all daunted Jon persevered until he found the present couple who appear to very much understand the delights of the house and the setting in which it discretely exists. At all times Jon kept me informed and acted with good humour, even when I teased him. I'd be pleased to use Jon again and recommend him as an agent of skill and reliability.
Jon Dundas-Smith was our agent and he was exemplary right from the start. Personable, knowledgeable and professional in all respects and importantly, his advice and strategy in relation to the sale process of our house proved to be spot on.
We are so pleased to have selected Jon Dundas-Smith for the sale of our apartment in Roseville. Not only did he achieve an outstanding result, but he also displayed an energy and experience that sets him apart. We had never sold a property before and went with Jon because he has years of property market knowledge across a range of conditions. Also, before any discussions on the property itself, Jon took the time to get to know our plans and ask questions, rather than simply treating it like a quick sales transaction. Once the campaign was under way Jon put the hard yards into calling every single buyer and giving us comprehensive daily and weekly updates on how things were going. He was also great at keeping us relaxed throughout the process in what can be a nervous and daunting period. We also found Jon to be extremely generous with his time, very flexible in regards to specific requests that we had in relation to the marketing of our home, and also gave us plenty of helpful tips for the future. We would strongly recommend Jon and the team at McConnell Bourn if you are looking to sell your property.
